About
Sambodh Foundation
Sambodh and its sister organisations in India take
inspiration from the teachings of H.H.Swami
Bodhananda, based on the divine pronouncements
of the Upanishads, Advaita Vedanta and the Rishis
of the yore.
Sambodh envisions the inculcation of values like respect
for all religions, respect for the individual and
his/her fundamental rights, respect for nature and
human's symbiotic relationship, all with a scientific
temper.The
power of mind and the efficacy of yoga and meditation
in the exploration of the frontiers of mind are increasingly
being realised in academic and scientific circles.
'Who
am I?'
We
are living in a world where everybody searches for
his idenity. 'Who am I?' has been an eternal question
baffling mankind. The spiritual legacy of India enshrined
in the Upanishads and bequeathed through the Guru
Parampara has foundational answers to this identity
question.
Swami Bodhananda, acclaimed authority on Vedanta,
with rare clarity and vision, unfolds the answers
to the question 'who am I?', in His discourses, interviews,
lectures, classes and counselling sessions.
Inspired
by His divine vision, Sambodh and its sister organisations
in India has taken up well-defined projects, and organises
a wide variety of programs which includes social service
centres (Centre for the Girl Child); home for the
aged
(Vanaprastha Ashram); a centre for Vedic Studies (Vedic
and Management Studies Centre); research foundation
for management and leadership studies(Bodhananda Research
Foundation for Management and Leadership Studies);
an institution to train Brahmacharis on the ancient
wisdom of the Vedas, Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali Yoga
Sutras
(Bodhananda Seva Society, Thiruvananthapuram, a dedicated
Trust for the uplift of the villagers of Himalayas
(Sambodh Seva Trust, New Delhi).
The list is never ending for the motivation of the
devotees and students of Pujya Swamiji is always on
the lead to make His many 'samkalpas' a reality come
through.
Sambodh and its sister institutions will be a forum
for philanthropists and service-minded Sadhakas, to
pool their resources, to set up appropriate institutions,
with a dream for the spiritual revival of the humankind.
The goal is noble. The work is rewarding. But the
path is ardous. We need a reservoir of good will among
the enlightened public. Finance is required. Workers
are needed. But what is more precious is the good
wishes of the people, of all of you. Join us and discover
a new world and a new life of happiness, love, self-unfoldment
and self-fulfillment.
Let us participate in God's work and let us feel God's
abundant grace every moment of our lives.
