Sambodh Centre for Living Values is situated in
the quiet and serene land of 8 acres in the outskirts
of Bangalore.
The peaceful and green environment here gives an
ideal setting for the hub of Sambodh programs.

immediate tasks of Sambodh are centered around the
development of the village community in Doddaballapur.The
charity work of Sambodh is supported exclusively

Tree-plantation
and Organic Vegetable Garden
The Tree-planting project of the Ashram "Green-the
Ashram--Save the Village" programme continues
with great interest. An organic vegetable garden
is being developed and maintained at Sambodh Centre
for Living Values. For nature-fresh greens, french
beans, cucumber, okhra, tomato, cherry tomato, chilly,
guava, brinjal, avara beans etc. Do visit our Ashram
in Sungattanahallii, Dodballapur.

Jayanthi celebrations
An awareness programme was held at the Govt
Primary school, Amruthahalli, Hebbal.Sweets were
distributed, and about 100 kids participated.
Computer-orientation classes
Computer-orientation classes were held at the
Govt Primary school, Amruthahalli, Hebbal. These
classes were received with great enthusiasm.

Scholarship
Mahesh of class X from Sungatanahalli Govt school
was given the annual Sambodh Scholarship (for poor
children) 2009
Republic Day Celeberations
In connection with Republic day celeberations,
games, competitions and awareness sessions were
held at the Govt Primary school, Amruthahalli, Hebbal.
Certificates and gifts were distributed to students.
Free
Medical Camp
Free Medical Camp in Nov 2008. Dr Satyavati (gynacologist)
and Dr Sreedvi
(peadiatrician) did free check up, initial diagnosis
and distribution of medicine to the women villagers
from Sungattanhalli, and Students of Govt Lower
Primary schools at T. Hosa Halli and Sungattanahalli.
Free
Classroom accessories for the poor students of villages
around the Ashram
In September and October 2008, the Vinayaka
Chaturti and Durga Puja festivals were celebrated
in the Ashram by organising awareness programs,
games and distribution of free classroom accessories
(notebooks, colors, pencils, toys and so on) for
the poor students of Govt schools in the villages
around Sambodh Centre for Living Values. For pictures

In
connection with the GuruPurnima celebrations of
this year, a free medical camp was organised by
SCLV for the poor villagers on 13th July 2008. Many
poor men, women and children turned up for the free
check up and diagnosis.
Dr RN Chakrabarthi was the Consultant doctor who
gave his free services and patiently addressed to
each patient's case.
Scholarships,
Food and other support
One
of the major programmes regularly organised is the
supply of free food and educational support for
extremely poor children. Every Saturday we feed
the poor students of the Govt school at Amruth Nagar,
Hebbal. They are also supported with support materials
like books, school bags, clothes and so on.
2008 onwards we have started giving modest annual
support to bright but underpriviliged, poor school
students. Until now we have given 6 such scholarships.
