Sambodh Centre for Living Values (SCLV) & Sambodh Centre for Human Values (SCHV) the two Centres of Sambodh Foundation in Bangalore, are dedicated to integrated holistic life style incorporating social commitment and ecological living for a healthy sustainable harmony. Sambodh Centre for Human Values (and Sambodh Siddhivinayaka Temple) is located in Kempapura, Bangalore. SCLV BangaloreSambodh Centre for Living Values is located in the outskirts of Doddaballapur town, Bangalore. It is situated in the quiet and serene land of 8 acres in the outskirts of Bangalore.

The peaceful and green environment here gives an ideal setting for the hub of Sambodh programs. Sambodh Foundation organises a variety of social and spiritual programs with focus on charity work, rural uplift, ecological and spiritual values, and holistic living. In the past several years Sambodh Foundation has been actively engaged in organising a number of management programs pursuing excellence in leadership based on Indian wisdom traditions.

SCLV Vision and Mission
A group of women and men dedicated to the vision of an integrated holistic life style incorporating social commitment and ecological living bringing modernity and tradition into a healthy sustainable harmony.

Our plans are to set up a school and educational centres for poor children of the neighbourhood, organisation of camps, seminars and workshops, prayer and meditation meetings for religious, communal and social harmony; to conduct SCLVprograms focusing on gender and women's awareness, self-employment and empowerment; to provide nutritious meals and health programs for children and pregnant women; to maintain a Gosala; experiments in dry land and organic farming, social forestation, develop alternate energy sources; to set up a Management Studies center focusing on Indian management styles, rural management and excellence in leadership; to set up a school for Veda, Vedanta and Yoga studies; to set up a Holistic Healing Center; and finally, to foster a community of dedicated people inspired by the above ideals.

How You Can Help?

Sambodh Bangalore focuses on the development of the village community in Doddaballapur. About 1000 plants were planted in the recent past. The charity work of Sambodh Bangalore is supported exclusively by your generous donations. Please contribute your time, money and voluntary service. We await your response.

Tree-plantation and Organic Vegetable Garden
The Tree-planting project of the Ashram "Green-the Ashram--Save the Village" programme continues with great interest. An organic vegetable garden is being developed and maintained at Sambodh Centre for Living Values.

Computer-orientation classes
Computer-orientation classes are held at the Govt Primary school, Amruthahalli, Hebbal. These classes are received with great enthusiasm.

Sambodh Scholarship
Every year 10 scholarships are awarded to bright students who do not have resources to continue their education.

Republic Day Celeberations
In connection with Republic day celeberations, games, competitions and awareness sessions are held at the Govt Primary school, Amruthahalli, Hebbal.
Certificates and gifts were distributed to students.

Free Classroom accessories for the poor students of villages around the Ashram
Festivals are celebrated in the Ashram by organising awareness programs, gamesand distribution of free classroom accessories (notebooks, colors, pencils, toys and so on) for the poor students of Govt schools in the villages around Sambodh Centre for Living Values.


Medical Camp

Free medical camps are organised by SCLV for the poor villagers every year. Many poor men, women and children turn up for the free check up and diagnosis. Dr RN Chakrabarthi, Dr Sathyavathi and other self-giving Doctors are the Consultant doctors who give their free services and patiently address to each patient's case.

The goal is noble. The work is rewarding. But the path is ardous. We need a reservoir of good will among the enlightened public. Finance is required. Workers are needed. Bodhananda Kendram, Karamana River Sambodh INDIA has centres in several cities in Kerala with ashrams in Trivandrum, Cochin, Calicut and Palakkad. The headquarters of Sambodh Kerala is in Trivandrum, at Bodhananda Kendram, beside the river Kalady, frilled by coconut palms, and with a picturesque vanatage point. There is a full fledged guest house, halls, and class rooms in Bodhananda Kendram. Bodhananda Kendram in Trivandrum is the oldest Centre of Sambodh India, and was started by the disciples of Gurudev in 1988.

Siddhi Vinayaka Temple Siddhi Vinayaka is the patron deity of Sambodh Kerala and other Sambodh Centres. Devotees of Sambodh in India and the United States worship Siddhi Vinayaka with the Ganesa Gayatri mantra, and also contributing to microcharity through the Siddhi Vinayaka Kalasaradhana Programme. Swami Bodhananda speaking at a BRFML SeminarSambodh India has inspired a research foundation, Bodhananda Research Foundation for Management and Leadership Studies. BRF-ML was found in 1990 inspired by Gurudev's vision that leadership will be the most challenging issue in the twenty-century not only in corporate management, but all enterprises that would need innovation, imagination and team effort. BRF-ML organises seminars and courses on a wide range of themes on Indian management. The most recent event was a course on classical Indian ways of reasoning, with focus on the text Tarkasamgraha. Luscious Fruit Trees in Sambodh Bangalore The activities of Sambodh Bangalore are primarily two-fold: The Sambodh Centre for Vedanta & Siddhi Vinayaka Temple which is coming up in the city; and the Sambodh Centre for Living Values in the outskirts of Bangalore which is devoted to activities that promote a green life style based on ecological principles. Sambodh Bangalore organises events to support underprivileged children with educational aids; planting of trees, medicinal plants and organic farming; and nurtures Sambodh Centre for Living Values, with a variety of a programmes that inspires interdisciplinary dialogues; studying Vedantic texts; and living with the nature. Swami Bodhananda, Dr BP Mathur, Er PN Subramanian with Dr APJ KalamSambodh Delhi is the central office for all Sambodh Centres in India. Apart from the administrative overview of the Centres, Sambodh Delhi organises annual lectures by Gurudev, and also study classes on Upanishads, Gita, and Vedantic texts, when Gurudev is in India. Apart from leadership and management studies seminars and lectures, Sambodh Delhi organises a variety of charity events to support the poor and underprivileged, and also supports a project for facilitating drinking water in Sattal, a Himalayan village. Events and Programmes

Sambodh Foundation India organises a variety of Vedantic discourses and management lectures and seminars coinciding with Gurudev's presence in India. Rishi Vision is the annual programme being organised by Sambodh Kerala, BRF-ML, and Bodhananda Seva Socities in Kerala. Swami Bodhananda speaking at Chennai MMADuring this period Gurudev offers study classes on Upanishads, Vedantic texts, and engages in dialogues through seminars and sessions on leadership, and studies in Indian management. There also similar annual events in Bangalore, and Chennai. In Ahmedabad every year Gurdev offers courses at public events organised by Ahmedabad Management Association. In Delhi, Sambodh organises annual lectures on themes of contemporary spiritual significance at public venues such as Habitat Centre, All India Institute of Management Association etc.

Lok Seva Programme with Dr Shashi Taroor as Chief Guest at Bodhananda KendramSambodh Kerala, Sambodh Bangalore, Sambodh Delhi and other centres organise charity programmes, spiritual and study classes, empowerment programmes for the underprivileged and medical camps, through the year,. The Lok-seva unit with Bodhananda Kendram in Trivandrum, Sambodh Bangalore, and Sambodh Delhi through out the year provide support for the poor with food, medicines, medical support, and other essentials.
